The subject was a son of Noah, among the eight preserved through the flood in the ark.
When his father lay drunk and uncovered in his tent, and the subject's brother Ham exposed the shame abroad, the subject and Shem took a garment upon their shoulders, walked in backward, and covered their father, their faces turned away.
