Sin is the most expensive thing you will ever indulge in.
It never advertises its price upfront. It presents itself as free-as pleasure, as freedom, as relief. But when the bill arrives, it is always more than you can afford.
And the blood of Jesus is the most priceless thing in all of existence. It cannot be earned. It cannot be purchased. It cannot be replicated. It is the only substance in the universe that can settle the debt that sin accumulates.

Sin is the world's most expensive bait-and-switch. It never delivers what it promises. And by the time you realize it, you've already paid.

Every sin is committed against an infinitely holy God. That means every sin carries infinite weight. The price cannot be settled by good behavior, religious performance, or human effort.
"For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become guilty of all of it." - James 2:10
One sin is enough to condemn. One thought. One word. One act. Against infinite holiness, any sin is infinitely catastrophic.
This is why no human being can pay their own debt. We are all bankrupt before God. Every one of us owes more than we could ever repay across a thousand lifetimes.

Peter says the blood of Christ is precious-timios in Greek-meaning of incomparable value, beyond price, incalculable worth.
