There is a void in every man, a void shaped by eternity. God has planted eternity in the human heart.
"He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end." - Ecclesiastes 3:11
This void can only be satisfied by the knowledge of the true and living God. Yet the fallen nature of man drives us to seek fulfillment in the wrong places.
We try to fill it with success. Relationships. Pleasure. Achievement. Validation. But the void remains. Because it was never shaped for temporary things-it was shaped for the eternal.
Jesus came to restore us, to lead us back to true satisfaction. To know Him is eternal life.
"And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent." - John 17:3
An emptiness in the soul that nothing earthly can fill.
Shaped by eternity, only satisfied by the Eternal.
A person. The God-man who restores us to our Creator.
"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." - John 14:6
